This year Realty Expo’s principal sponsor was Greentech City, associate sponsor –Southwinds and SBI was the Bank Sponsor. Realty Expo 2013 saw the participation of around 58 companies consisting of developers, marketers and banks. The response to the marketing initiative was stupendous as requests flowed in from prospective exhibitors within hours of launching the marketing initiative for the fair. In fact due to early bookings, many real estate companies, interested in participating, could not be accommodated. Despite a change in venue, at Milan Mela too it was ensured that the layout of the halls were scientific and were positioned in such a manner that none of the exhibitor’s stall could be missed by the visitor. Every visitor who registered was subject to a lucky-draw and were given complimentary copies of the Real Estate Digest Magazine – CREDAI Bengal’s Quarterly Comprehensive Guide to properties in Bengal. Apart from daily lunching facilities for all exhibitors at the adjacent food court, sumptuous coffee, mocktail options and a delectable snacking range at an inhouse café stall made for animated conversation and discussions amongst the visitors and exhibitors alike. Visitors also treated themselves to some indulgent nail & tattoo art, whilst visitors who came with little children found some respite in the Kids Zone.
As always, the USP of Realty Expo 2013 remained the unmatched array of various genres of properties that the customer could not only compare and choose between in the same price segment, but also consult with a bank right at the venue to enquire about the possibility of getting a home loan.
About 13,000 visitors made a beeline to visit Realty Expo 2013 through all four days and an encouraging number of spot bookings were transacted, ensuring its stature as a calendar event, that most prospective buyers, and real estate sector professionals visit to hunt for properties and gauge the growth of the overall market nuances.
On the last day, prizes were given away for the Best Stall by virtue of their aesthetics, functionality and consumer-friendliness. This was judged by Professor Ranjan Das, Chief mentor, The Strategy Academy and Mr Kamal Periwal, eminent Architect. Mr Patodia gave away the prizes to this year’s winners – N K Realtors, Greentech City and Ambuja-Neotia, who opined after their win that it was an honour to be adjudged the best stalls as all other participants had put up equal efforts to make their respective stalls attractive, innovative and conspicuous.
Four exciting days of business, promotion and camaraderie brought the curtains down on Realty Expo 2013 making this year’s edition too a huge success.
